A second round of grant funding is now available to help Central Queensland communities further recover from the 2018 Central Queensland Bushfires.
Small grants (between $2,500 and $50,000) and large grants (between $50,001 and $150,000) are on offer to support events, activities and programs that drive community recovery activities, increase awareness and build local resilience.
Queensland-based community groups, local councils, non-government organisations, peak & industry groups, research bodies and for-profit organisations delivering to the disaster-declared local government areas of Banana, Bundaberg, Central Highlands, Gladstone, Isaac, Livingstone, Mackay and Rockhampton are encouraged to apply.
Recipients of Central Queensland Bushfires – Round One grants and new applicants may submit an application.
Assistance is being provided through the jointly funded Commonwealth-Queensland Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA).
More information on the grants are available at https://www.communities.qld.gov.au/funding including links to the application forms via SmartyGrants.
