Financial assistance has been activated for primary producers affected by the Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather event to access low-interest Natural Disaster Assistance and Essential Working Capital Loans. Farmers within the Bundaberg, Gladstone and North Burnett regions are now eligible.
Natural Disaster Assistance
Primary producers directly affected by Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather 16 – 19 October 2017 may be eligible for low interest loans up to $250,000. Primary producers and small businesses directly affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding may be eligible for low interest loans up to $250,000. Natural Disaster Assistance (Essential Working Capital)
Primary producers which have suffered a significant loss of income as a result of Central Coast Queensland Severe Weather 16 – 19 October 2017 may be eligible for low interest loans up to $100,000. Primary producers, small businesses and non-profit organisations which have suffered a significant loss of income as a result of Severe Tropical Cyclone Debbie and associated rainfall and flooding (such as through loss of electricity, water or road access for extended periods) may be eligible for low interest loans up to $100,000.
